| cw: 168 (-.2) So I slept so much last night. 13.5 hours to be exact! And I missed the new Royal Pains premiere episode too. Oops! Breakfast-Coffee, banana, blueberries, bowl special k with skim milk Lunch-wrap with mayo, turkey and 1 slice provolone Dinner- Snacks-brownie Dessert- Workout-32 minutes cardio "lower body" plan, 20 minutes toning Tan-9 min I have lost weight before with xanga's help and the motivation from here. It's hard though cause when you actually are successful you don't realize it at the time. I constantly think "you need to lose more, more, more". But as I get older, I have become more relaxed and more accepting of my body, metabolism, and that I may never be skinny miny or someone that can run marathons. What I can do is have a better attitude, work out, and eat better. I am planning a trip to Hawaii in 6 months and so my goal is to get into the mid-low 150s for that trip. | I'm backkk again! So much has changed since the last time I was on here. Needing to share with everyone my triumphs and hardships with getting back into a workout routine and losing about 15lbs. :) Today's weight: 168.2. I read a bunch of magazines today from Fitness to Shape to get inspired. I even ate really healthy for lunch then ruined it for dinner. *Sighs* I'm trying. Breakfast-egg & american cheese with salsa wrap Snack-Clementine, 100cal cracker pack Lunch-Arugula, grilled chicken, strawberry, pinenut, feta cheese salad with tomato basil soup with a few bites of bread Dinner-Mcdonalds grilled chicken sandwich, fries, ranch sauce Dessert-cream cheese brownie Workout-30 minutes treadmill, 20 minutes toning Tan-Mini tanning session Wow this is good...After writing all this out I feel disgusting. Good parts of it is I worked out and ate vegetables! Wish me luck on this new journey. Hoping to reach my goal by June! | | |
| Currently: 156.2lbs 49 days left. 11.2 lbs til goal. I got to a low of 155.8 I think 2 days ago but have been running around, drinking, and also went for a filet mignon dinner with the family last night. I think that ultimately I did a really good job because all I had was one roll (when it usually is like 3), 2 bites of an appetizer (which is usually like a whole appetizer), skipped a salad and just ate the entree and skipped dessert. So that's a pretty huge accomplishment. So far I've lost 5.8lbs since I started this about 2 weeks ago. Tomorrow I go back to school so it will be harder to probably eat right but I also want to work out and swim. I'm also going to switch my meal plan to 7 meals/week so I will be forced to either not eat, or cook. I just discovered this website called The Skinny Website and here are some pictures I likeddd. Newest Vicki Secret model, I'm obsessed with her bikini its so cute

| Currently 156.6 (-.6) Day 3. 53 days left. 11.6 lbs to go. So today I got acupuncture for the first time. I learned a lot of things and can say overall that I was super relaxed after the session. The weirdest thing for me was the doctor and how calm he was. He also spoke as if he were writing not as if he were speaking, for example he never ended a sentence in a preposition, never used contractions. I liked it. - It is better to avoid cold foods & drinks and the warmer the food/beverage the better (even like eating cooked vegetables is way better than a salad)
- Birth control does not really clear up the skin
- To avoid dairy because it clogs my sinuses up and I have bad allergies
- Stop running, and try and dance/swim
- He said that he felt some sort of injury in the back of my head and asked if I knew what it was.....I had no idea lol
- Move somewhere dry
- That I have a "petite" structure/bones....This goes against everything I've thought and been told since day 1.
Overall, it was a good experience and I definitely think that its more helpful then just popping pills. Food: Pack of peanut M&Ms, 1/4 thick bite of Italian sausage with tomato sauce on it, 1 mini snicker, D-chips and fresh guacamole & 2 and 1/2 small chicken tacos Exercise: none | | |
| Currently 157.2 Day 2. 54 days left. 12.2lbs remain Food L-Cosi Chicken TBM melt on whole grain-761 cals S-2 mini Snickers-85 cals, 1 milano cookie D-cream cheese pretzel ~300cals, apples with caramel-210cals Workout 1 hour Total Body Conditioning class (kicked my ass!) Today I'm staining my bathroom cabinets a dark wood color. I hope it turns out good I've never done anything like this before. So I did a class at the YMCA....I swear sometimes theyre so hard these classes and I get out of breath so easily especially when there is a lot of jumping and combined upper-lower body movements. It pains me how theres 50-60 year old women there that are SO in shape. Eek! I have a date on Thursday I believe and going out with the girls for a night out on the town Friday so gotta look good for then. Watching Sleepless in Seattle right now, I missed the beginning so now I'm going to wonder what happened....Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks are classic. Anyways, I figured I'd post some thinspo and right now...mostly the celebs I'm obsessed with at the moment.
